Alex: Hey Maddy, thanks for coming in to do an interview with me.
Maddy: Sure, no problem, It's not everyday you get to meet your creator. Though, is it you, or is it Waldstein?
Alex: Ah yes, that's true. You really struggled with that when you found out, didn't you?
Maddy: That everything I thought I knew about myself was fake?! Sure I struggled. Jesus...how could you do that to me! I thought my Mom was my mom...turned out she was someone else's. I thought that house was where I grew up! God.
Alex: I'm sorry.
Maddy: Yeah, well I'm over it now.
Alex: You've had a hard time of it, haven't you? Those revelations, losing someone you were getting close to...
Maddy: You talking about Sal, or Adam? (She shrugs) And Rashim. I miss all of them.
Alex: I sense, Adam the most?
Maddy: Yeah...we could have had something together I think. But, I see you left me an out.
Alex: What do you mean?
Maddy: The ending of our last book. You left it open. You gave me a chance to be with him in the end.
Alex: I know. I wanted to give you that. And will you? Or DID you...christ...Time travel messes with your head.
Maddy: Tell me about it. Well, since you control our destinies...with that writing stuff you do...I guess it's in your hands. I would like to see him again. But then, I know Liam will need me in the past. That's where you've left him...right?
Alex: Uh-huh...with plans to rewrite the next two thousand years of history. You want to be a part of that too right?
Maddy: Who wouldn't?
Alex: What would you try and change if you could steer history?
Maddy: I'd make it more tolerable. I'd make it okay to be gay...or a woman. I'd make it a lot more clearer in the bible and any other religious texts that it's never...NEVER...okay to kill someone in the name of God, or Buddha, or Allah...or whatever.
Alex: You could do some good back then.
Maddy: I'd like to think so.
Alex: Well...as I told Liam when I did an interview with him. Don't get too comfortable. I may be letting you all out again soon.
